Chilton Christian Academy fell to Faith Christian at home Friday, 71–21.

For the Patriots (2-5), sophomore Jewel Mitchell and junior Trent Ray both scored touchdowns and posted nearly 100 yards each.

Freshman Drew Hodges threw his first touchdown pass to senior Landon Hall.

Freshman Nevin Todd led the defense with eight tackles.

Regardless of the final score, Chilton Christian coach Michael Pittman said he was proud of his team for playing hard throughout the game and coping with lack of depth because of injured players.

“We’re in the game with everybody in the first half,” Pittman said. “The second half is killing us right now, but we’re getting there. I’m pleased with the kids.

“They give it everything they got. You can’t ask them to play harder.”
