Ruth Kicker, 82, a resident of Millbrook, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Funeral services will be held on Sep. 29 at 2 p.m. at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery in Snowdoun.

Kicker was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Zera Floyd; first husband, Nat McKenzie; son, William McKenzie and sister, Jean Knight.

She is survived by her son, Jamie McKenzie (Hilda); daughters, Dianne Melanson (Bob), Jenny Sammons (Scotty), Connie Bowden (Ronny); sister, Vi Henry (Gene), Patsy (Bob); nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff of Prattville Health and Rehab and Comfort Care Hospice for the loving care they provided Kicker.
