Charles Williams

Charles “C.K” Williams, 78, of Bradenton, Fla. passed away on July 13 surrounded by his loving wife and children.
Born on Sept. 27, 1934, in Billingsley, Williams graduated from Jemison High School in 1953.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; son, Mark; daughter, Charlotte; son-in-law, Joseph Tucker; brother, Phillip Williams and his wife, Martha; brother, Larry Williams and nine nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Robert Olin and Margaret Stanford Williams and sisters, Bernice Partridge and Edwina Williams.
After a 43-year career as a railroad engineer in Alabama, Charles and Pat retired to Florida where Charles was a top salesman at Vacuum Doctor in Sarasota.
He also donated his time to assist voter registration.
A celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
