David Aaron Culp

David Aaron Culp, 71, of Selma, passed away on June 29 at Vaughn Regional Baptist Medical Center in Selma.

He was born on April 20, 1942, in Chilton County, the son of the late James H. Culp and the late Hurtilean Williams Culp.

He was an automobile repairman.

Surviving are his wife, Anita Greene Culp of Selma; three daughters, Marchell Weldon (Tim) of Clanton, Lynn Lawrence (Oliver) and Melissa LaBoue (Chad) of Selma; three sons, David Culp Jr. (Sharon) of Montgomery, James Scott Culp (Shannon) of Florida and Edward Hopkins (Jennifer) of Selma; 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye Culp and grandson, Jeremy Fulmer.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on July 2 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held on July 3 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Calvin Strickland officiating.

Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.
