Five-year-old Emma Owens was crowned the 2013 Little Miss Peach on Saturday.
Owens was also named the casual wear winner earlier in the evening.
Owens is the daughter of James and Charlotte Owens and has two older sisters, Gracie and Olivia.
Owens will attend Isabella Elementary in the fall.
She was sponsored by Owens Concrete.
Owens was one of 16 Little Miss Peach contestants participating in the pageant held at Chilton County High School on Saturday.
Donning an emerald colored dress, Owens said she was excited to win her first pageant and was surprised when she heard her name announced as the winner.
“I love pageants because you get a trophy and a sash,” Owens said after the pageant.
Charlotte Owens said hearing her daughter’s name announced as the winner brought on an emotional feeling due to having another daughter win the title.
“This is my second daughter to win the title Little Miss Peach,” Owens said. “It just made me really emotional when I heard Emma’s name called out because her older sister, Gracie, was also Little Miss Peach in 2010.”
Charlotte Owens said Emma’s interest in pageants started at an early age when Owens learned a “pageant wave” at 18 months old.
“She just loves this,” Charlotte Owens said.
Contestants in Little Miss Peach modeled casual wear as well as dresses, and 2012 Little Miss Peach Cameron McGhar took her final walk before the queen and her court were announced.
Owens’ court included first alternate Addyson Williams, second alternate Makiley Porter, third alternate Alli Kate Calhoun and fourth alternate Lexie Deavers.
