William Harrel “Billy” Wyatt, 69, of the Refuge Community in Clanton, passed away on June 15 at Hatley Healthcare in Clanton. He was born in Bibb County on April 22, 1944; the son of the late William Carlos Wyatt and Harriett Elam Wyatt.

He retired from Alabama Power Company as a journeyman electrician.

He is survived by his son, Carl Allen Wyatt (Aleta) of Clanton; son, Shane Wyatt (Stacey) of Thorsby; mother, Harriett Wyatt of Clanton; grandchildren, Nelson Wyatt, Evan Wyatt, Avery Wyatt, Lauren Wyatt and Carlee Wyatt and brother, Royce Wyatt of Clanton.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Diane Mims Wyatt; father, Carlos Wyatt and brother, Chuck Wyatt.

Funeral services will be held on June 18 at 3 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Wallace and the Rev. Jeff Carroll officiating.

Visitation will be on June 18 from 1 p.m. until service time at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.

Burial will follow the service in Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery in Clanton.
