Jackson Chapel Church

Bro. Horace Wyatt got the morning worship service started off with “Where the Soul Never Dies” and “Blessed Assurance.”

Bro. Dennis’ text came from 1 Timothy 1:3-6: It is our responsibility as parents to teach our children about Jesus Christ, because they will not find that teaching in our schools—and they surely won’t find it in the world. Satan is always waiting around the corner to try to get our children to go down the wrong road, but we need to teach them the right way. We need to bring up our children in the way of the Lord. If we do this, when they grow old, they want depart from it.

Please remember these as you pray this week: Marie Johnson, Jean Mayfield’s sister (Eloise), Amy Solis, Carolina Solis, Carol Smith, Juanita Wilkins, our upcoming graduates, our lost loved ones and our service men and women.

We are located at 4020 Yellow Leaf Road in Clanton. Our service times are Sunday school: 10 a.m., Sunday morning worship service: 11 a.m., Sunday evening worship service: 6 p.m. and Wednesday Bible study: 7 p.m.
