Ethel Dean Knight, 76, of Verbena, passed away on May 21 in Pensacola, Fla.

She was born on May 15, 1937 in Alabama, the daughter of the late Arnold Dooley and the late Pearlie Peters Dooley.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her two sons, Thomas J. Latham and Kent Knight; daughter, Judy Holley; a host of grand and great grandchildren; brother, William Dooley and a sister, Inez Gray.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Knight; son, Ricky Knight and daughter, Rita Leonard.

Friends were received from 5-8 p.m. on May 23 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be held on May 24 at 11 a.m. at Chestnut Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Edwards officiating.

Interment will follow in Chestnut Creek Baptist Cemetery in Verbena.
