Peach Pageant registration deadline extended to May 10

The Clanton Lions Club has extended the registration deadline for the 2013 Chilton County Peach Pageant to Friday, May 10.
All required registration materials should be turned in at Peoples Southern Bank (main branch) in the bookkeeping department by 5 p.m.
Those registering for the pageant need to turn in the following: four wallet-size photographs (headshots only) with the contestant’s name and sponsor’s name on the back of each photograph; a completed contract and fact sheet, printed or typed; a copy of the contestant’s birth certificate; sponsor/entry fee of $75; and any program advertising money collected.
Registration packets are available at Peoples Southern Bank and Brenda’s Formal Wear.
The Miss Peach Pageant will be held on Thursday, June 27. Miss Peach contestants must be at least 15 years old but no older than 18 by June 27.
The Junior Miss Peach Pageant will be held Tuesday, June 25. Junior Miss Peach contestants must be at least 12 years old but no older than 14 by June 25.
The Young Miss Peach Pageant will be held Monday, June 24. Young Miss Peach contestants must be at least 8 years old but no older than 11 by June 24.
The Little Miss Peach Pageant will be held Saturday, June 22. Young Miss Peach contestants must be at least 5 years old but no older than 7 by June 22.
Lions Club is also sponsoring the 2013 Peach Festival Photogenic this year.
The entry fee is $25. Age divisions are 0–11 months, 1–2 years, 3–4 years, 5–7 years, 8–11 years, 12–14 years and 15–18 years.
Those registering need to turn in a 5-by-7 photograph (headshot only), entry fee and completed registration form at Peoples Southern Bank in Clanton by June 3.
The contestant’s name, age, parents’ names and phone number should be written on the back of the photograph.
Photographs should be attached to registration forms with paper clips, not staples.
Checks should be made payable to Clanton Lions Club.
Winners will be announced on June 27 during the Miss Peach Pageant.
