The tornado warning and tornado watch issued for Chilton County Wednesdsay morning have expired.

The warning, which was issued by the National Weather Service, was in effect until 5:45 a.m. Wednesday.

The watch was to be in effect for Chilton County until 1 p.m. Wednesday, but NWS cancelled the alert about 8:30 a.m.

Shortly before 8 p.m., NWS issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the county until 8:45 a.m.
