Ida Linnie Marler, 81, of Jemison died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.
She was born on Saturday, May 9, 1931, in Bibb County, daughter of the late Walter E. Day and the late Gertie Oglesby Day.
She was a seamstress.
Surviving are her husband, Ivan N. Marler of Jemison; sons, Richard (Barbara) Marler of Bessemer, Kenneth (Geri) Marler of West Pelzer, S.C.; daughters, Cathy (Randy) Grill of Maylene, Elaine (Tom) Tibault of Clanton, Paula (Kenneth) Maudlin of Thorsby; sisters, Grace G. Chase of Denver, Colo., Joyce Dean Day of Pascagoula, Miss.; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William Day and sister, Mary J. Payne.
Friends were received from 6–8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services were held Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Travis Marler officiating.
Interment followed in Thorsby Memory Gardens in Thorsby.
