Arrest made in shooting that left victim hospitalized (updated)

A shooting Tuesday in Clanton resulted in one man being arrested and another being flown via emergency helicopter to UAB Hospital.
Ronrico Williams, 31, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault after the incident, which occurred about 2:15 p.m. near the intersection of Fourth Avenue South and 11th Street, Clanton Police Department Capt. David Clackley said.
Clackley said the victim was in stable condition.
The victim was found outside of a residence when emergency responders arrived, Clackley said. He had been shot multiple times, mostly around his arms and legs.
Bond for Williams had not been set as of press time.
Williams suffered no injuries in the incident, Clackley said.
