•Personal message: As a lifetime citizen, I have had the privilege to have served as your commissioner for eight years. I have taken this job seriously and my record shows my dedication. I have not missed a meeting in my eight years. I have brought morals, integrity and most of all accountability to the commission. I have provided the minutes from the commission meeting to the citizens of Chilton County for the past eight years; that was part of my platform for accountability. I am the people’s commissioner with an open door policy. You may not always get the answer you want, but you will get the truth. I have been successfully self-employed for 35 years and qualified to manage a $12 million budget or more each year. I ask for your votes and support in the Nov. 6 general election. See you at the polls.

I am honored to have been elected each of the last four years as Chairman of the Commission by the commissioners. I appreciate the other commissioners for working together to make the commission effective and staying within the budget for the past four years. I am dedicated to working hard to insure the commission wisely uses your dollars to benefit as many people as possible. I have been owner of Mims Memorials for six years and continue to work part time at Martin Funeral Home. I have worked in the funeral business for 36 years and most of it was at Martin Funeral Home.
