Doris Caton Davis, 79, of Alabaster died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, in Alabaster.

She was born on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 1932, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Charlie H. Hand and the late Alice Bell Hand.

She was a retired sales representative.

Surviving are her husband, James Davis of Alabaster; daughter, Carolyn (Johnnie) Glenn of Alabaster; son, Paul (Nikki) Caton of Jemison; granddaughters, Angie Wallace of Shannon, Kaylee Caton of Jemison and Lacy Ray of Jemison; grandson, Justin Ray of Jemison; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Caton, and her brothers and sisters.

Friends were received from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 18 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services were held Sunday, Aug. 19 at 3 p.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Franklie Jones officiating.

Interment followed in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Jemison.
