Grady G. Morrison Jr., 80, of Prattville died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

He was born on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1931, in Alabama, son of the late Grady Guy Morrison Sr. and the late Winnie Taylor Morrison.

Surviving are his son, Westley Morrison of Bellflower, Calif.; daughter, Sharon “Kay” Shelton of Prattville; two granddaughters, Cassie Strickland of Ogden, Utah and Kayla Shelton of Prattville; grandson, Scott Shelton of Prattville; nephews, Richard Lowery of Milton, Fla. and Jimmy Lowery of Milton, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Livet Morrison.

Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 11 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug. 11 at  2 p.m. at Samaria Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Smitherman officiating.
