Tulan Ahdell Solomon, 82, of Thorsby died on Monday, July 9, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on Friday, Aug. 16, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Henry Cagle and the late Lohner Pressley Cagle.
She is predeceased by her husband, Horace Solomon Jr.; sisters, Ruth Cagle and Elizabeth Ratliff; her brother, James Vance Cagle and son-in-law, Aubrey Wayne Oaks.
She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Oaks of Thorsby, Vickie Nelson (Gary) of Brandon, Fla., and Gail McDonald (Steve) of Dade City, Fla.; sons, Kenneth Solomon (Carolyn) of Franklin, N.C., James Solomon (Darlene) of Valrico, Fla., and Timothy Solomon (Laura) of Valrico, Fla.; brother, Vance Augustus Cagle (Margaret) of Harriman, Tenn.; sister, Virginia Burell (Luke) of Hendersonville, N.C.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family members.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 21 at 11 a.m. in Campground Cemetery in Horseshoe, N.C.
