Harry Gordon Cole, age 76, of Clanton, passed away on July 13, 2012, at his residence. He was born on Jan. 7, 1936, the son of the late Charlie C. Cole and the late Maggie Belle Crawford Cole.

He was a cabinet maker.

He is survived by: wife, Linda Cole of Clanton; son, Philip (Brandi) Cole of Clanton; grandson, Payton Cole of Clanton; grandson, Levi Cole of Clanton; sister, Virginia Payne of Tuscaloosa; sister-in-law, Billie Cole of Clanton; brother-in-law, Jerry (Julie) Hunt of Nashville; brother-in-law, Dan (Judy) Hunt of Orange Beach; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 16 at noon from Liberty Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Kent Dodson officiating.

Visitation was held one hour prior to the service.

Burial followed in Liberty Hill Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.

The family would like to thank the staff of Alacare Home Health and Hospice for the love and support shown throughout this time.
