The Isabella Youth League will hold its Miss Liberty Pageant July 7 at the Isabella High School auditorium.

It is a countywide event to raise money for the league. Funds raised will go toward buying the girls’ cheerleading uniforms.

Optional contests are $5 each for prettiest eyes, smile, hair and dress; beauty is $25; and to be entered into every category is $40. There will also be a viewers’ choice contest.

This is the league’s first year to host a pageant, but league secretary Kim Smitherman said approximately 40 girls have registered.
