Kaney Rudolph Lowery, age 72 of Jemison, passed away on June 19, 2012, at his residence.

He was born in Chilton County on Jan. 30, 1940, the son of the late Rev. L. Kaney Lowery and the late Olena Owens Lowery.

He was a former machine operator and farmer.

He is survived by: wife, Emmie L. Lowery of Jemison; son, Joseph Rudolph (Jackie) Lowery of Jemison; son, Mark Daniel Lowery of Wilton; son, Ronald Kaney Lowery of Wilton; grandsons, J.C. and Sam Vingren; sister, Ruvon DeFee of Jemison; sister, Mary Ingram of Jemison; and sister, Georgia Anderson of Jemison.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 20 from 6-8 p.m. at Archer’s Chapel Methodist Protestant Church.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 21 at 11 a.m. from Archer’s Chapel Methodist Protestant Church with the Rev. Mike Morris and the Rev. Donald Talley officiating.

Burial will follow in Archer’s Chapel Cemetery in Jemison.
