Wilma G. Wilson, 92, of Birmingham died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at St. Vincent’s East in Birmingham.

She was born on Sunday, June 29, 1919, in Alabama, daughter of the late James B. Gillespie and the late Linnie Leona Collins Gillespie.

Surviving are her three sons, Larry C. (Kathy) Wilson of Birmingham, Kenneth D. (Terry) Wilson of Birmingham and James M. (Reda J.) Wilson of Buford, Ga.; daughter, Annette W. (Ronald J.) Lake of Oneonta; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Cecil Wilson and grandson, Matthew Wilson.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 15 at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Cemetery in Clanton with the Rev. Kenneth Wren and the Rev. Mark Smith officiating.
