Water Course to close June 29

The Alabama Power Water Course in Clanton will close permanently on Friday, June 29.

According to Alabama Power’s website, the Water Course announced it will close to  “refocus our educational outreach in other areas,” including math, science, technology and engineering partnerships.

The Water Course has operated since 1995 and was one of the first interactive learning centers to open in the Southeast, the website said.
