Birmingham authorities are turning to Clanton in their search for information about a man found dead last week.

Selid William Holt, a 52-year-old white male, was found under an interstate overpass by a passerby on May 18.

Jefferson County Chief Deputy Coroner Pat Curry said Holt, who was homeless, is believed to have died of natural causes, but authorities haven’t been able to contact his next of kin.

Holt is believed to have lived in Clanton at one point.

Anyone with information about Holt should call the Jefferson County coroner’s office at (205) 930-3603.
