Margaret Crowson Martin, 83, of Jemison died Saturday, May 19, 2012.

She was born on Saturday, March 9, 1929, in Alabama, daughter of the late Henry Lee Crowson and the late Nancy Sims Crowson.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her two sons, Gene (Weida) Martin of Jemison and Danny Martin of Jemison; three sisters, Betty Crowson (Therman Jr.) McKay of Madison, Marie (James) Bruner of Montgomery and Jimmie (Oliver) Mullins of Madison; and two grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 22 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 22 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Bolton officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.

Pallbearers will be Stan McKay, James Porter, Blanchard Marriott, Wade Killingsworth, Anthony Franklin and Don Gilbert.
