Franklin Delano Patterson, 78 (Nov. 7, 1933 to May 8, 2012) has been called home to Heaven, after a lengthy illness.

PATTERSON

A loving father, husband and friend, Frank will surely be missed by all who knew him.

As a young man, Frank’s free spirit and love for motorcycles developed into a passion that would last a lifetime. Frank also enjoyed fishing, camping and golfing with friends and family.

His career as a truck driver allowed him to see the country as not many do.

His love for life was exceeded only by his love for his family. His spirit and his memory will forever be in our hearts.

Frank is survived by his wife, Raquel; sons, Frank Jr. and Jerry; daughter, Debra; sister, Marzell Martin; grandchildren, Tina Hook and Frank III of Jacksonville, Fla., and Jesse and Dean of Santa Clarita, Calif.; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial will be held Saturday, May 19 from 3-4 p.m. at his residence, 203 Hoyt Brownie Road, Clanton.
