Several Thorsby athletes competed in the Class 2A state track and field meet at Memorial Stadium in Selma on May 5, and five Rebels placed in their respective events.

Megan Sanchez finished fourth in the state in the javelin with a throw of 31.03 meters.

Also, the THS 4×400-meter relay team (Zack Hensley, Samuel Gasson, Cain Castleberry and Chase Gottier) finished 14th in the event with a time of 3:55.25.
