Mary Wynell “Jinkey” Davis, 72, of Clanton died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Chilton Medical Center in Clanton.

She was born on Saturday, April 20, 1940, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Calvin O. Johnson and the late Leona Oaks Johnson.

She was a tool and die maker.

Surviving are her husband, Harold D. Davis of Clanton; daughter, Jan (Emerson) Roebuck of Clanton; brother, Paul Johnson of Clanton; and sister, Lois Ferguson of Thorsby.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kenny “Crack” Davis; brother, H.W. Johnson; brother, H.O. Johnson; sister, Myrtice Thomas; and sister, Audrey Moates.

Friends were received from 6-8 p.m., Monday, May 7 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services were held Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Johnson officiating.

Interment followed in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.
