Jemison came in second place in the Panther Classic, losing only to CCHS.

The Panthers also defeated Southside-Selma in a doublheader of area games on Monday.

Jennifer Paschal was the winning pitcher in the first game, a 16-1 victory in three innings.

Paschal struck out five batters.

JHS won the second game 14-0 in five innings, with Tiffany Guin earning the win on the mound.

Jemison’s only area loss this season has been to Bibb County.
