Marion Leon “Robert” Jones, 60, of Montgomery died Monday, April 23, 2012.

He was born on Saturday, Jan. 19, 1952, in Clanton, son of the late San Jones and the late Vera Mae DeLoach Jones.

He was an upholsterer.

Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Israel; brother, Charles Roach; step-father, Joe Polifca; sister, JoAnn Williams (Bryan Harris); step-daughters, Christy Israel (Mark Kynard), Bonita Harris and Susan Walters; step-son, Matt Israel; grandchildren, Anthony Israel (Julia McLendon), Savannah Kynard, Steven Israel, Mark Anthony Israel Jr., Summer Brown, Tabatha Brown and Johnny Brown; nephews and nieces Kenny Cruise, Johnny Cruise, Tonya Cruise, Shannon Jones and Leslie Cruise.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 26 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Friday, April 27 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Denzil Cattret officiating.

Interment will follow in Chestnut Creek Baptist Cemetery, in Verbena.
