Absentee ballots for next Tuesday’s statewide Republican primary runoff are due Friday, April 20.

The deadline to apply for a regular absentee ballot is Thursday, April 19, by 4 p.m.

The only contest that needed a runoff was the Republican race for Public Service Commission president between current commissioner Twinkle Andress Cavanaugh and Chip Brown.

Voters who did not vote in the primary election or who voted on the Democratic ticket may still vote in the Republican run-off.

Absentee ballots are available at the Chilton County Circuit Clerk’s and Absentee Election Manager’s Office, Room 304 in the Chilton County Courthouse.
