Hazel M. Kelley, 86, of Sylacauga died Thursday, March 15, 2012, in Birmingham. She was formerly of Prattville, Clanton and Hoover.

She was born Tuesday, June 30, 1925, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Lorenza B. Williams and the late Mollie Bee Neeley Williams.

She was a retired bookkeeper.

Surviving are two daughters, Lynn (Don) Hodges of Sylacauga, Kay K. (Franklin) Golson of Birmingham; daughter-in-law, Charlotte P. Kelley of Verbena; sister-in-law, Peggy Williams of Leeds; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: husband, Joseph Lyndall Kelley; son, Randall B. “Randy” Kelley; great-granddaughter, Caroline Hodges; brother, Johnnie Irby Williams; sister, Inez Williams; and brother-in-law, Jim Williams.

Friends will be received from 1:30-3 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2012, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Sunday, March 18, 2012, at 3 pm. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Matt DeBord and the Rev. Jay Hurd officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.

In lieu of flowers, you may make memorials to First Baptist Church Clanton in her memory.
