Chilton County’s boys and girls tennis teams won convincingly against McAdory on Thursday.

The CCHS boys won 9-0 to improve to 5-0 on the season, and the girls won 8-1 and are now 4-1 on the year.

For the boys, singles winners were Nicholas Lyn (10-0), Rett Russell (10-3), Weston Harris (10-0), Chase Baker (10-0), Andrew Cantley (10-0) and A.J. Davidson (10-1).

CCHS also won three doubles matches. Winners were Lyn/Russell (10-0), Harris/Baker (10-0) and Ryan Baker/Conner Morgan (10-2).

For the girls, winners were Anna Adams (8-2), Laura Evans (8-2), Mary Colby Kelley (8-1), Anna Bearden (8-1), Krissi Jones (8-0) and Caitlyn Smith (8-0) in singles competition; and Adams/Evans (8-0), Kelley/Morgan (8-0) and Jones/Smith (8-0) in doubles matches.
