Greg Alan Powell, 46, of Clanton died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012.

He was born on Tuesday, April 27, 1965, in Chilton County, son of Wendell Powell and Patricia Messer Powell.

He was a sales representative.

Surviving are his son, Britton Powell of Clanton; daughter, Erica Powell of Clanton; father, Wendell Powell of Clanton; mother, Patricia Powell of Clanton; two sisters, Wendy (Stan) Shaw of Equality, and Felicia Powell of Verbena; two nephews, Michael (Tesa) Shaw of Montgomery, and Heath (Brittany) Shaw of Elmore; great niece, Addisyn Shaw of Elmore; and grandmother, Louise Price of Clanton.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bryan Powell.

Friends will be received from 1-3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 19 at Victory Chapel Church.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19 at Victory Chapel Church with the Rev. Glenn Graham Jr. and the Rev. Joe Davis officiating.

Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Cemetery, Clanton.
