Frederick Wayne Chandler, of Plantersville, passed away Feb. 10, 2012, at Baptist South Montgomery. He was the son of the late Chester L. Chandler and the late Jeanette Weaver Chandler.

He was a welder and a member of Local 798 Union Pipeliner.

He is survived by: son, Larry (Gina) Chandler of McPherson, Kan.; son, Danny (Patty) Chandler of Austin, Texas; son, Mark (Dina) Chandler of Jones; daughter, Mindy (Vincent) Hillman of Greenville, Texas; sister, Marie (Terry) Headley of Valley Grande; sister, Linda Miller of Texas City, Texas; sister, Glenda (Gene) Gilbert of Huntsville, Texas; and seven grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his grandson, Towns Chandler.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Jones with the Rev. Stoney Barbie officiating. Burial followed in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Jones.
