Ronald Earl Williams, 64, of Clanton died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, in Alabaster.

He was born on Monday, March 24, 1947, in Chilton County, son of the late J. E. “Jack” Williams and the late Lucille Kendrick Henley.

He was a carpenter.

Surviving are his two sisters, Carolyn (Dalton) Vance of Thorsby, and Betty Rainey of Clanton. He also is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Henley; father, Jack Williams; and brother-in-law, John Rainey.

Friends were received from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 3 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4 at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Hughes officiating.

Interment followed in Mt. Nebo Methodist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
