But Chilton stormed back to take a 13-10 lead.

Host Maplesville answered with a 9-0 run to make the score 19-13 at halftime.

Keshia Bailey drained a 3-pointer to start the scoring for MHS in the second half, and the Red Devils never looked back.

Chilton County won the boys game, 59-53.

Three sophomores led the CCHS scoring effort: Davre Williams had 22 points, Racquez Cora had 13 and Jamarcus Williams had 10.

Cora made six free throws in seven attempts down the stretch to seal the win.
