Thelma “MiMi” Wells Dumas, 85, of Memphis, Tenn. went to be with the Lord on Jan. 14, 2012.

She leaves behind three sons and one daughter, Harold “Hal” Dumas Jr. (Belinda) of Wilmer, Daniel “Danny” E. Dumas (Buffie) of Oxford, Miss., Donald “Donnie” Dumas of Covington, Ga. and Deborah “Debbie” D. Newsom (David) of Memphis, Tenn.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; honorary family, Dr. Greg Thompson (Lisa) of Oxford, Miss., and their five children.

She was preceded in death by her children’s father, Dr. Harold Dumas of Metamora, Mich.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 18 from 12:30 p.m. until the service at 2 p.m. at Central Church, 2005 Winchester Blvd., Collierville, TN 38017, with interment following at Memphis Memory

Gardens on Raleigh-LaGrange. She was a member of Central Church for 42 years. She retired from Universal Underwriters in 1990 and spent the rest of her life serving others and being a nanny.
