Dwight David Dennis, age 55 of Clanton, passed away on Jan. 10, 2012, at his residence. He was born on May 22, 1956, the son of the late Herbert Hoover Dennis and the late Annelle Roe Dennis.

He was a plant maintenance person.

He is survived by: sister, Diane Dennis of Moore, S.C.; brother, Joe (Adriane) Dennis of Clanton; niece, Adalyne Dennis; and nephew, Austin Dennis.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 14 at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Mims Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Anderson officiating.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the services.
