Xander Bennett Dobbs, the infant son of Ashley and Carissa Dobbs of Dallzell, S.C., was born and passed away on Jan. 3, 2012, in Sumter, S.C.

He is survived by his parents along with: brother, Wyatt Dobbs of Dallzell, S.C.; grandparents, James (Pam) Dobbs of Maplesville; grandmother, Audrey Cauthorn of Praugue, Okla.; grandparents, Philip and Teresa Mims of Clanton; great-grandmother, Nadine Dobbs of Maplesville; and great-grandmother, Ruth Glenn of Clanton.

Xander was preceded in death by his infant sister, Mackenzie Lorraine Dobbs, who was born and passed away on April 28, 2006, in Columbia, S.C.

A private joint funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at Concord Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Dobbs officiating.

They will be laid to rest together in Concord Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.
