Gordon Z. Cochran

Gordon Z. Cochran, age 82 of Randolph, passed away on Jan. 9, 2012.
He was born on Jan. 25, 1929, in Bibb County, the son of the late Pete Cochran and the late Pearl Smitherman Cochran.
Mr. Cochran was a retired machinist.
He is survived by: wife, Shirley Cochran of Randolph; son, Tony (Connie) Cochran of Maplesville; grandson, Landon Cochran of Maplesville; sister-in-law, Jewel (Harold) Riffe of Shelby; brother-in-law, Dan (Joyce) Crumpton of Clanton; sister-in-law, Janie Cochran of Randolph; sister-in-law, Betty Posey of Jemison; sister-in-law, Bonnie McMichael of Clanton; sister-in-law, Linda Crumpton of Clanton; sister-in-law, Janice Crumpton of Thorsby; and sister-in-law, Barbara Smitherman of Randolph.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 10 from 5-8 p.m. at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Jemison.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 1 p.m. from Mars Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. William Earl Short officiating.
Burial will follow in Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery in Jemison.
