Billingsley boys, girls defeat Thorsby

Billingsley’s boys and girls basketball teams defeated Thorsby on Thursday.

The Bears boys won, 62-36 behind 16 points and five rebounds from Carlos Caver.

Denzel Callens had eight points and four rebounds, and Garrett Price had seven points and three steals.

Parker Bryan had eight points for Thorsby.

Billingsley’s girls won, 60-48, despite a career-high 38 points from Sharonda Cooper.

Lori Davis countered for BHS with 31 points, and teammate Madison Price had 16 points.
