Henry Morgan “Pub” Publow passed away at his residence in Verbena on Dec. 21, 2011. He was 60 years old.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at 2 p.m. from his private dock on Lake Mitchell.
Born in Nashville, he is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon P. Publow, and Margaret Morgan Publow.
He is survived by his sister, Jinksie Publow (Tom) Harris of Ooltewah, Tenn.; brother, Gordon P. Publow Jr. of Nashville; nieces, Tamara Harris (Barry) Frizzell of Ringgold, Ga. and Virginia Cayce Publow of Nashville; nephews, Scott Thomas Harris of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Andrew Morgan (Anna Blair) Publow of Asheville, N.C.; and two great-nieces, McKenzie Lauren Frizzell and Amelia Morgan Publow.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. He was the owner of Dixie Wheel & Tire Company in Clanton. Pub never knew a stranger, was a friend to many, and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in his memory to any charity of your choice.
