The Man in the Big Red Suit will be riding through Thorsby on a big red fire engine this Christmas Eve.

That’s right – Santa Claus is coming to Thorsby.

Once again, the Thorsby Fire Department is giving Santa a ride before he makes his deliveries on Dec. 24.

He will be throwing candy to children who come out to see him between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

“We should hit every street this year,” said Fire Chief R.L. Gunn, adding that if the ride is cancelled because of rain, Santa will relocate to the fire station for a meet-and-greet.
