A gospel singing concert benefitting Chilton County United Way will be held at the Central Alabama Music Barn on Saturday, Jan. 7 at 5 p.m.

The program will feature Spoken For, The Fishers of Men, Adreane Barrington, Maddy Barrington and Betty Shinn.

Dinner will be served, and a cake raffle held. Admission to the event is free, but donations are welcome. All proceeds go to United Way.

Lloyd Nutter, a Southern gospel music promoter, will serve as the program’s emcee.

“We get a blessing out of doing it for them,” Nutter said of he and his group of volunteers. “(We are) part of lots of events.”

The Central Alabama Music Barn is located at 14683 County Road 29 in Jemison.
