Garbage pick-up and government offices’ hours of operation will be altered because of the upcoming Christmas holiday.

Clanton City Hall will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 through Tuesday, Dec. 27 for Christmas.

Clanton garbage carts should be left out starting Tuesday, Nov. 20 through New Years Day. Other garbage, like boxes, should be placed in garbage bags to keep it from blowing away.

Jemison City Hall will close at noon on Thursday, Dec. 22 and reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 27. Trash will be picked up as normal on Tuesday.

Thorsby Town Hall will be closed on Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26. Trash will be picked up a day behind. Monday’s pick-up will be on Tuesday. Tuesday’s pick-will be on Wednesday. Regular days will resume on Monday, Jan. 2.

Maplesville’s Town Hall will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26. Friday’s scheduled pick-up will be done on Thursday, Dec. 22, and Monday’s scheduled pick-up will be done on Tuesday, Dec. 27.
