Jackie Lucille Brashier, 90, of Thorsby died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born Friday, Dec. 17, 1920, in Shelby County, daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson Bishop and the late Rose Lee Evans Bishop.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her two daughters, Margaline Diem of Clanton and Faye Honeycutt of Valdosta, Ga.; son, Wayne Brashier of Thorsby; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Clara Blankenship of McCalla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Perry Brashier.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 15 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Friday, Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. at Thorsby First Baptist Church with the Rev. Von McQueen and the Rev. Marc Hodges officiating.

Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery in Thorsby.
