Randal Thomas Emmerich, 54, of Clanton died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011.

He was born Sunday, Feb. 17, 1957, in Missouri, son of the late Loren J. Emmerich and the late Laura Ann Cleckler Emmerich.

He was a framer.

Surviving are his son, Nathan Emmerich of Clanton; two grandchildren, Sara Kate Emmerich of Clanton and Carter Emmerich of Clanton; stepmom, Velda Emmerich of Missouri; two brothers, Kelley Brooks of Verbena and Steve Emmerich of Clanton; sister, Cathy Carr, Missouri; great aunt, Lenny Wyatt; uncle, Herman D. Cleckler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Laura Brooks; father, Loren J. Emmerich; and wife, Brenda S. Emmerich.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 7 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Cleckler officiating.

Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
