This Is Bliss Therapeutic Massage & Spa, LLC of Clanton is hosting a Holiday Extravaganza on Saturday, Nov. 19 to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run/Walk on Sunday, Dec. 4.

The Holiday Extravaganza will be from 5-8 p.m., with vendors stationed throughout the office.

This Is Bliss is also raising money for the Arthritis Foundation through Red Bells or Blue Bells, a new fundraising campaign benefitting arthritis research, health education and programs.

Anyone who makes a $5 donation will receive a bell for their favorite team—Alabama or Auburn—and a five-minute chair massage from a licensed massage therapist.

“They get the five-minute neck, back and shoulder massage as a thanks to them for giving a $5 donation,” said Sharon Russell, This Is Bliss co-owner and licensed massage therapist. “All the bells money will be going to the Arthritis Foundation.”

Bells may be purchased now through Dec. 3 at This Is Bliss Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Our goal is 150 bells by Dec. 3,” Russell said. “Arthritis is something that we, as massage therapists, see a lot in our work. We help our clients get relief from arthritis pain.”

This Is Bliss is located at 501 First St. N. in Clanton.
