Mrs. Garldean Head Bryant, age 71, a resident of Clanton, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at a local hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bryant will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with interment following at Pineview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her daughter, Elisa Diane Adair; and son, Larry Smith.

She was a homemaker and loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Head (Diane) of Wetumpka, James Smith (Catherine) of Clanton, Tim Smith (Carol) of Wetumpka, Gary Smith of Prattville, Daryle Smith (Amy) of Thorsby, Jeff Smith (Darlene) of Prattville; and Jerry Smith (Rachel) of Clanton; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The pallbearers will be her sons. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
