Kathy Irene Martin Williams, age 56 of Verbena, passed away on Nov. 2, 2011, at her residence. She was born in Chilton County on Aug. 15, 1955, the daughter of the late Edwin E. Martin and the late Willie Jo Taylor Martin.

She is survived by: special friend, Kenny Stinson of Verbena; son, Jonathan Scarbrough of Clanton; son, Joey Martin of Clanton; grandson, Joseph Scarbrough of Clanton; and brother, Eddie (Carolyn) Martin of Clanton.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Ellison-Mims Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Mineral Springs Baptist Cemetery in Clanton, with the Rev. Austin Ball officiating.
