Denise Rene’ D’Angelo Beck, formerly of Gulfport, Miss., died at her home in Thorsby after a long struggle with cancer. At the time of her death, she was surrounded by her family. Denise’s numerous friends visited often and gave her much support and comfort throughout her illness.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Beck; mother, Dorothy Panter; brothers, Kenneth D’Angelo and Joseph Stoessel (Veronica); sisters, Cheryl Wade (Kevin), Patricia Hale, Linda Ghunmeyeen and Pamela Davis; daughter, Angela McWilliams (Joshua); grandson, Gage Frazier; stepdaughter, Charity Robinson and Brittany Lampkin; stepson, Kenneth Beck Jr.; and six step grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Hope Hospice for their exceptional support. They would also like to thank Dr. Cantrell and staff of Bruno Cancer Center, St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at Charter Funeral Home on Saturday at 2 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior to the services. The Rev. Wayne Arnold is officiating.

In lieu of flowers, Denise requested donations be made to Bruno Cancer Center.
